Doran Park Light Installation Under Way

The lights are close to being on at Doran Park as the 2008 Cape League season is just over 2 months away for the Bourne Braves.

Last week at Doran Park holes were being dug, poles were rising and light fixtures were being installed. By weeks end the first pole complete with lights could be seen at the park behind Upper Cape Technical High School.

The Bourne Braves have launched a Capital Campaign to raise the remaining ,000 to pay for the lights as well as an additional 0,000 to finish other projects at Doran Park such as completion of the press box, new bleachers, landscaping in areas where fans sit, a playground and updating the bullpens.
